About Navnika Gupta, MD

Growing up in a family of physicians, with both of my parents serving as lifelong role models, I was inspired by their dedication to medicine and the compassion and empathy they showed their patients. Witnessing the meaningful impact they made on people’s lives instilled in me a deep appreciation for the privilege of caring for others and inspired me to pursue a career in medicine. I believe in collaborative, patient-centered care that empowers patients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their health. My role is to guide them through these decisions with compassion, clear communication and a team-based approach. My clinical interests include epilepsy, seizures and seizure disorders, drug-resistant epilepsy, and neurostimulation, including vagus nerve stimulation (VNS), responsive neurostimulation (RNS) and deep brain stimulation (DBS). Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in nature, going for walks and hiking.
