I am a board-certified ophthalmologist and a member of the Glaucoma division physician team at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where I also serve as an Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology. My clinical interests include the comprehensive management of glaucoma and cataracts. I treat glaucoma using medical, laser and surgical approaches, including trabeculectomy, glaucoma drainage implants and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS). I have also authored peer-reviewed publications in ophthalmology and presented at national meetings. Outside of medicine, I have a lifelong interest in music and grew up playing classical piano and flute. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling and hiking.
