About Candace E. Ivey, NP

Helping patients through their medical journeys is such a privilege and the role of Nurse Practitioner allows me to continue that hands on care that I love at a more intricate level. My approach is one of clear, direct, realistic, and open communication. When the patient and I are clear on the facts and goals, we can agree on a plan of care and attain optimal health goals together. Currently my clinical special interests include General and Bariatric Surgery, specifically post operative recovery and the overall bariatric process. Recovery following any surgery is imperative to long-term health with bariatric surgery having a profound impact on the confidence of our patients. Outside of work, I spend my time with my family and as often as possible that time is spent by the pool or on the beach.
